I have always given my piggie Tilly lots of brocoli and curly kale, which i feed her everyday probs a handful of kale and 2 to 3 bits of brocoli, and half maybe sometimes a full carrot. does this sound way too much? I also give her a petshop ceral stick thing about once/twice a week, but I dont know if i should and if they are bad or not and if i should remove them ( i dont know how much sugar they have), but she really likes them. I have read broccoli and kale can gass out their tummy and should be in moderation? but these are the foods she sqeaks for and has alwas had them with no probs.( she is 2 and a half now) She also loves apple which should only be given as a treat. I think she loves the foods that arent good for her...so i have tried different things....
i have tried cucumber, lettice ( not iceberg ) tomoto, pepper, herbs, dandelion leaves, cress,a blueberry, cabbage and grass and she is having none of it!
if i give her lettuce and cucumber she looks as me as if to say " silly woman, what are you giving me that soggy thing for?!" {:|
and some foods such as tomoto she jumps and runs a mile away like she is scared of it. She is a funny thing ... I cant beleive she doesnt even eat fresh grass and just ignores it......
I'm going to attempt today to go sit by her and eat cucumber, as if she hears me eating something she squeaks and wants it
has anyone tried corn on the cob? you give it them raw right? I'm dying to find another food she loves!
