Do they get calmer even more after that, or does that make no difference at all?

Neutering a guinea pig has no impact on their behaviour, it just removes their ability to reproduce.

I've read on here that neutering has no impact on their behaviour. Not like it would with dogs and horses, etc

it makes no diff at all just stops them from producing sperm so they cant get a sow preg (4-6 wks ) after the op they can then be introduced to a sow or sows

As mentioned it makes no difference to their behaviour/personality.

Murphy did not hump the girls though after a few days of moving in with the girls, infact Honeyb once humped Murphy when she was in season.
