Benny's new love

Hello all - as some of you may remember, Billy, who I rehomed from Small Paws rescue back in January, died in July, leaving a bereft Benny.
After a failed date with Basil at the Potteries rescue we returned there this week and, with an array of male totty to choose from, Benny fell in love with the very cute and beautiful Harry, a little ginger baby boar.
Benny has really made me laugh, as when he doesn't know I'm watching, I see him tearing around the cage, popcorning away like mad (great to see as I've not seen him popcorn since before Billy died), yet when I walk into the room he starts rumbling to Harry, like he's been telling him off all along! Harry follows Benny everywhere and popcorns along with Benny - it's so cute and funny and for a little chap, Harry can leap pretty high!

AWWW - they make a lovely pair. You must be sooo chuffed to see Benny so happy again!

It is really worth making that extra effort to piggy date your bereaved piggies (both genders) at a rescue, even if the first try doesn't come off; that is why it is called dating. But when it finally does, you get a wonderful friendship out of it!
 
I'm so glad your Benny is happy its nice to see them happy again.
 
What wonderful news. How funny Benny does not want you to know they are getting on well. :)) Funny piggies.
 
Oh Sal! that's wonderful news, you must be chuffed to bits. What's the story on the little one? Every rescue piggie has a history, no matter how young. So pleased he's got a happy ending already, lucky little man.

Benny is soooo beautiful! I'm so glad he has a friend to spend the rest of his piggy life with xx>>>

Now i might have to start a thread with adult and mini pig pairing pigtures - there is something so adorable about it!rolleyes:))
