Pet link, the pet store near me has decided that they will start selling small animals.
They also used to sell really nice hay called Kimberly hay which was from the cotsworlds. YAY for local stuff
Recently they have stopped selling it and sell this hay from animal dreams which I will say is terrible quality. I keep finding huge long sticks in it, thistles and other odd sticky plant things which could cause harm to the pigs. The bag I opened today I found ragwort and bindweed in it.
That instantly went back and after a big argument with the bloke there and me starting to call the council. He wouldn't give me a replacement and told me just to pick it out. I got 2 replacement bags of supreme science hay. This hay is excellent but its expensive for what you get.

So where is the best place to buy hay from online? I can buy bulk as I'm getting my stepdad to fix the shed roof or get a new shed to store it in.

I just ordered hay from hay for pets and I am so impressed by how cheap they are. Fifteen pounds for a nine kilo bag of timothy and rye hay. :)

Are you sure there is no farm or equine feed supplier near you? I paid £4.50 a bale recently for good quality hay, and there's no way horsey people would tolerate ragwort in it!

The only other place close by is countrywide and their hay isnt the best. Just the same branded stuff you get from other pet stores. There might be more places up in Malvern but I can't be bothered to look.

I am gonna order hay for pets. Which hay do you recommend?
Timothy or the ings hay?

i ordered meadow hay, £12 for a big bag, its the first time i have ordered from them, so next time will try ings x

i have looked on their site, and cant see anything that says it is, only that it is not sprayed with chemicals, lots of people seem to use it though, i cant say i have noticed it being dusty .

I'm thinking of getting hay from them as hope it will work out cheaper then getting it from a pet shop but how big is the 9.5kg meadow hay? and how long does delivery take?

Just received my first order of Ings Hay from Hay for Pets.Only took a couple of days and it is gorgeous.Good value and my guineas love it.

How big was the bag? If I do order from there I need to know If I can fit it in my shed.

The hay comes in a double plastic bag and it's about the size of half an oblong hay bale .Quite heavy but well handleable.
