Hi guys!
I’m guessing there’s already a thread for this somewhere but I cannot find it! I was wondering what are the best veggies and fruits are to feed your pigs? I’ve looked on many websites and they say it’s super important to have a variety of veggies and to not feed them the same ones over and over. I feed my pig carrots, romaine, and cucumber (sometimes)! Anyone have any other veggies that are good for them?

As a treat mine get a little snack pack slice of watermelon, from ASDA they are 33p for two little slices and as they are just treats these work great! Mine get spring greens and occasionally kale, mine also love Coriander which is something they have every day, just 2-3 sprigs of it. If you only have two pigs it can be difficult to feed a larger variety as there ends up being a lot of waste. Try buying individual items (e.g I buy two single carrots for around 12p rather than a whole bag) and this saves waste and money when you have fewer pigs. Also look around various supermarkets to see where your shop is cheaper. Me personally, I find ASDA's overall cost to be cheaper and for some reason, their stock lasts much longer, but just try small amounts as and when you can and figure out what your pigs like.
