Big move coming up and we don't know how best to do this. We'll be flying cross-country and carrying them on-board will probably be too much work with everything else going on.

Options we're considering (but admittedly don't know too much about yet):
- Some sort of overnight shipping option (?)
- Transporting them ourselves in a few months when we fly back
- Paying some sort of courier service to fly them soon

Your thoughts, experiences, and advice are mucho appreciado!

(I saw the pinned post on European air travel, figured this was still worth posting on its own :).)

Thanks!

I am also in the US, Northeast but most of the members here are in Europe as the site suggests.

If you can give us some more information and whether you have researched your options, maybe we can help further. We can point to what would be the best option.

I personally wouldn't leave my boy Finn and Lara with someone for a few months. Unless it is my mom or one of my sisters. But, I would be willing to leave with them if it was absolutely necessary.

Well doesn't seem like there are that many options :/. From the sound of things, any sort of checked way is a no go due to temperature, etc. Only option would be carry on, and I'm trying to figure out which airlines would even allow it. I'm shocked, to be honest, how difficult it is to transport non-feline or -canine animals. Who knew?
