I dont want to sound like a complete fool asking this so please be patient with me. I was wondering if i can give my Guineas treats like biscuits, obviously i wasnt think chocolate ones of triple choc chip cookies, just like plain digestives and things like that or bread? Or is it purely fruit and veg?

Refined sugar (which is plentiful in Digestive biscutis) is not good for anyone really, but especially not for piggies. Unsweetened crisp bread or cereal could be an occational treat if you really wanted to. Mine sometimes get unsweetened oat rings (my breakfast cereal) and love it, but not as much as carrot, parsley or cucumber

my cheeky boy del found my biscuits when he was out once and i caught him nibbling on a nice biscuit!cheeky boy i dont touch his veggies so he shouldnt touch my biscuits!i hide them well away now

So what you are saying Petra, is not only should one not feed bicuits to the piggies, but we shouldn't eat them ourselves either! LOL. I'll just go and nibble a carrot with my tea.
No biccies for humans...somehow that doesn't seem like a just reward for being a doting cavy slave...I think I better go have a chocolate finger and think this one over lol
