The last few days my mum has found some bites on her leg. She is wondering if the piggies have anything on them, I can't see anything. But can piggies carry any parasites which would cause human harm?
 
I was always under the impression that they did not transfer between species but I may be wrong. Could it be something from the garden? Suppose it is possible it is something from a batch of hay.
 
Its very doubtful as species specific, do you have any other pets that could bring something in? If not i agree with Helen something could be coming in from the outdoors :)

We do not have any other pets, she did go in the garden the other day to pull up some plants.....
I might give the girls a short bath at the weekend, apparently if they have fleas it drowns them.
