The last few days my mum has found some bites on her leg. She is wondering if the piggies have anything on them, I can't see anything. But can piggies carry any parasites which would cause human harm?
I was always under the impression that they did not transfer between species but I may be wrong. Could it be something from the garden? Suppose it is possible it is something from a batch of hay.
Its very doubtful as species specific, do you have any other pets that could bring something in? If not i agree with Helen something could be coming in from the outdoors

We do not have any other pets, she did go in the garden the other day to pull up some plants.....
I might give the girls a short bath at the weekend, apparently if they have fleas it drowns them.
