Dic a Dom

Just come back from our local RSPCA with a new addition to the family. His name is Shadow and he's only 10 months old. He was taken there by a couple who had no time for him anymore. He's absolutley stunning and really adorable and I'm hoping to bond him with Paddy in the next coming weeks.

We had him as he was the only guinea they had left yesterday as the rest had been rehomed and we are currently fostering the last two brothers. We thought it was cause for celebration but today 8 guineas had been dumped in a box with two rabbits outside. Poor things are in a terrible condition with bad skin and ringworm. 5 females are barely adults and some are thought to be pregnant.

When you think life is going your way it always seems to turn and slap you in the face. :tickedoff:

Congratulations on your new arrival, look forward to pics and hope he bonds with Paddy.
:tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: but awful news about the other 8 guineas, at least now they will get the care they need.

am so glad that you got a friend for paddy. but am so :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: about the 8 dumped guinea pigs and 2 bunny rabbits. the only consolation i guess is that they were dumped where they will be taken care off properly. O0 hoping the girls aren't pregnant and hope they all recover from their sad start in life and find good loving forever homes. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: some people make my blood boil :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff:
