Is he on baytril? Darker poos are not unusual for that.
Please give him a pinch of probiotic about 1-2 hours after you give the antibiotic to help bolster up the gut flora. You can either sprinkle it on a bit of veg or syringe it dissolved in 1 ml of water (gives two mouthfuls, so don't syringe it in one go!) Please weigh him daily instead of weekly, preferably at the same time in the feeding cycle for comparable results.
No he's not on baytril it's one that smells like bananas? Lol well he's nearly finished his course of antibiotics so do you think its worth getting probiotics he's only got couple days left on it :-/
That is septrin, but it is an antibiotic nevertheless!
