Well little Finley has had his first experience of a sow in season, and boy did he go wild! Poor Dottie was chased around and around last night until she eventually got stuck between the cage and her wooden house and Fin had his wicked way :x:...

It wasn't nice to watch but I needed her to tell him when enough was enough rather than me intervening continuously :..., she did do this eventually and he stopped for a while before going back for more intermittently mallethead

Everything is back to normal today rolleyes phew! :)
 
Ps, just in case anyone worries, he is a neutered boar, oh and luckily no boar glue has been found on her :)>>>:))!
 
Pffft! If he was human he'd be classed as a sex pest!! :))

Poor Dottie! Hope she gets the hang of telling him off!

She did eventually, she's just so chilled out it took her a while to get fed up with him! Mabel came over a few times to tell him off too :))

Naughty Finley! Poor Dottie..... Let's hope she gets the hang of telling him to go away! She needs to say she has a headache :))

She peed on him plenty of times, he's not bothered by a bit of wee.... rolleyes

He is being a total sex pest again tonight, Mabel is now the victim...the girls do seem to come into season at the same time (usually both get grumpy with each other) so this makes sense. She is not a happy bunny, lots of squealing but no aggression. Will keep a close eye!

OK, time for some more education - why would a neutered boar want to do this? I realize that the neutering is to prevent babies, but is it that the neutering removes the reproductive capability and nothing else?

Exactly that Pat! Neutering only means that they cannot get the sow pregnant. The boars still have the same urges and a sow being in season will still send them wild! :) He's calmed down now thank goodness!

Looks like I have this joy to come then - my boar Bumble is on the waiting list for a spayed sow from Tracy at Rugby (we are calling her his mail order bride / Christams present , but it might be after Christmas until we get to the top of the list ) - poor girl isnt going to know what hit (or bonked) her- cant wait until we get her so that Bumble has a wifepig ,and also because one of my girls came into season the other day and spent all night rumble strutting and chattering to her sister whilst Bumble called to her - not great when you sleep in the same room as them - 4 times I had to get up that night to calm piggies down - was knackered in the morning - worse than newborns lol:)) - but at least it doesnt happen very often - they are very well behaved if not very spoilt piggies:))

you will indeed! Bumble will be a very happy boar though when he gets his mail order bride! :)):)):)) I love how the girls flirt through the bars swaying their hips at the boys :(|) little hussy's! It does settle down really quickly so don't worry, you'll only have one or two sleepless nights! Hehe :)
