On Friday I adopted Blitz because other wise, his owners were going to take him to the auction.
Anyway is there something I can do to get him to socialize with me because I'm just worried he's not becoming more friendly.
Any ideas would be just great.
 
hi, its going to take a bit of time for him to get used to you & his new home. Try sitting him on your lap hand feeding him some nice foods like a slice of apple, cucumber,or grass, talk to him & stroke him. It will probably take a couple of weeks for him to settle in & get used to you as its been a big change for him :)
 
Yes, what I did with my piggies was talk around them. Sounds silly but it works! Offering treats from your hand and just letting him take baby steps in his own time. Push him too far and I often find you're back to square one. Its mostly about time more than anything. Building up trust between you both. It will all be very worth it in the end. :luv:
 
I agree, lots of talking to him and hand feed him so he associates you with nice things. If his previous owners were going to take him to an auction then maybe hes not had much love before so will be wary of people for a while. But with most piggies you're looking at weeks if not months before they start to trust you. Its well worth it when they do though.
