Hi
Had an email this morning, see below. If anyone in the London area is able to match their requirements, please pm me and I'll send you the contact details!
"Dear Sophie,
I hope you don’t mind me contacting you.
I was hoping you might be able to help me track down a blonde long haired guinea pig and owner to potentially appear in our first show this coming weekend.
For our first show we are taking a light hearted look at whether dogs really do look like their owners.
Based on a recent study by Lance Workman, who will be a studio guest (see attached link) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1166927/Were-barking-mad--really-DO-look-like-dogs.html we will be playing a short game in the studio to see if this theory really is true!
We have some fantastic look a likes lined up to appear on the show, but we would like to throw a spanner in the works and introduce a random pet just to throw our presenters off the scent.
It would be great if we could get a Guinea Pig owner to appear on the show. You wouldn’t have to look like your pet, just to stand on the stage with the rest of the dog owners whilst our presenters attempt to match up the pets with the correct owners.
The tone of the item will be very light hearted and it will be a lot of fun. We are asking the owners and pets to come along to BBC studios in Shepherds Bush, West London for a practice run through on Saturday 31st October between 12:30 and 14.00 and then to the studio record the following day (Sunday 1st November) from 16:30 – 21.00.
We will cover all travel expenses and provide food and drink.
If you know of anyone that might be interested please do not hesitate to give me call.
Many thanks,
