I was wondering if you can give your guinea pigs frozen blueberries? Or do you have to thaw them first? ?

Also, can you give your piggies leaves? When I put them on the lawn, all they do is eat...so they are bound to eat a leaf sometime. I am just wondering if this is OK. We have a birch tree in our backyard, so they would be birch leaves. ;)

I don't know if leaves are safe as some plants/leaves can be toxic, I think research on the internet should tell you :)

i think i read somewhere not to give them frozen food... i am not completely sure though

you can give then frozen food which has been thawed, but if it had thawed and they dont eat it after like an hour remove it as it can go off much quicker then fruit that hasnt been frozen.

I was told not to give them food if it has ever been frozen..even f its defrosted? :-\

Froaen food is not good as it gives a terrible chill to their stomachs. Thawed foods are ok, but they lack flavour and texture. Piggies love more of a 'crunch' to things :)

I'm not too sure on actual blueberry leaves
