Junior Guinea Pig
I adopted Trishula from an animal shelter in March. He came from a home where he was believed to be a girl and got other girls pregnant. His fur always feel a bit funny - like it's heavy and greasy. I've had ill boys before who eventually get a lot better coats. I typically assume when I adopt a pig, their past is sketchy, they may be unhealthy, and eventually they will get better w/ me. He's been getting the same great treatment my other pigs get but he still feels yucky. His grease gland doesn't seem to be a problem, so I don't think it's related to his overall oily-ness. Is there anything I can do for him? I've debated bringing him to a vet over this, but I'm not sure it's "serious" enough.
