Jayne.

Well,, I have three 4 month old boars - all from the same litter.
I know it's at 'that stage' where it can all go terribly wrong,, but so far it seems to be working!

Toby has always been 'chief scent marker' & is the most confident of the 3.
Freddy is totally laid back & chilled & has no interest in being the boss.
Timmy has always been easily agitated & a little bit antisocial.

For the last 2 weeks Timmy & Toby have had a few teeth chattering competitions. I was worried at first but after lot of guinea watching,, I've noticed that neither of them carry out a long argument or bite & within 10 minutes will be sitting next to each other eating hay.

Freddy seems to work excellently as a distraction as they both just start popcorning & purring whenever Freddy comes over.

So at the moment the balance is just right. :)
I think Timmy & Toby aren't the best of friends but can live with each other & Freddy provides both of them with fun! :):):)

Fingers crossed! :))

fingers crossed it all works out for you i had a boar trio basil the boss, smokey the confident cheeky demander of food and dylan the agravator starts an argument and then runs away it was wonderful didnt realise how lucky i was they were a group for over 5 years but unfortunately basil and smokey went to rainbow bridge and we are left with dylan who we tried boar dating but he just winds them up so think basil and smokey must of been saints to put up with him.

Anyway hope your trio lasts as long as mine and you have the lovely memories i do, cherish them as a trio is very special.

Haha poor Dylan! Theres always a grumpy one! :))
It's so good to hear about a trio that worked! You hear about boar trio's never working over & over again,, so it's nice to hear the opposite! :)
I think it just depends on the 3 personalities & the balance within the group!
