Boars are so gross

LOL just spent 30 minutes cleaning boar bits, bum and ears, why didn't I pick Sows tee hee. Still love my little gross boy though.
 
:)) I miss my boars so much, I'd love to wipe a boars bum one more time :)) haha
 
I just wish all mine were short haired, Tyler never needs owt doing but the other 3, gross rolleyes
 
Can I ask how often you do this and what do you use to clean there bum ? Thanks :)
 
Bumble boar is now 3 months and had his first bath last week - he loved it daft pig - my girls squeel and try and run up the sides of the bath - bumble sat there whilst he was massaged all over lapping it up - had trouble trying to find the grease gland though - so just put on neat shampoo and then lathered it all up where it is supposed to be under all that hair (he I think is an abby or abby rex cross - rosettes and scruffy - face like a friendly lion - dead ringer for my doctor lol - can be a smelly beast when he wants tho.:))
 
How have I had my guinea pigs for two months without knowing this, both mine are long haired and have never noticed this ! I know to check them over behind there ears tummy and bits. There both fast asleep at the momment so will inspect in the morning and see if I can find it, Ill then pop to the shop after work for some shampoo, time for there first bath I think !
 
Kim don't stress, they very rarely need a full bath, just as and when * think, I do my boys every few months, but clean their bits about once a fortnight. I use johnsons small animal wipes sometimes too :)
 
When my Piggies get bathed i use johnsons baby shampoo on them. One of ours has dry flaky skin and our vet said it would help that..plus they smell all baby like afterwards :)

Yes its nothing to worry about you will know when it needs cleaning, I only do a full bath about every 16 wheeks just do bum washes in between
 
Think maybe I'll stick to girls! :)) :))

However, Misty is overdue a bath - somehow she has got grubby patches, not sure how she has managed that but curse of being a PEW is that it shows!
