I love reading, especially about cavies I already have : (1)The Guinea Piglopedia (2)The really useful guinea pig guide and (3)The proper care of guinea pigs.

I've read each at least twice and I'm on the prowl for more guinea pig knowledge drool So if anyone out there has any good book recommendations please tell me 8

Any books written by Peter Gurney; I think you have to look for them second hand - but he was certainly an authority in guinea pigs!

The Guinea Piglopedia

What did you think of that book? I've been thinking of buying one for ages. There's a hamster one too that I want - with the same name.....well apart from hamster instead of guinea pig!

I really did love it Very informative, although it does have a large section on breeding but an even bigger section on common illness' It has its plus' and its minus'. I'd definitely buy it.

iv got the piglopedia! quite good but i prefer the peter gurney books iv got 2 of them. iv also got a really old 70s book about guineas, its interesting to see how out of date it is! not to mention wrong!
