Isn't he handsome? :smitten:

He's really settled in and we usually see him either tearing around his new C&C like a happy mad thing or stretched out like a big lazy relaxed thing ;D He's a real character and as I was telling Emma earlier, came into our lives at the right time. He was popcorning a minute ago whilst picking a couple of bits of hay on the fleece 98) and I think has made a new friend with Dylan, who was really missing Oscar. The two if them have started to sleep all curled up next to each other through the divder, so we may give bonding a go in the future.

He's a complete little nutter, friendly, adorable, handsome and funny piggie. He's fitted in quite nicely!

So thanks again to all who helped get him here to us for his forever home and letting us rehome him. That means you lot named above ;D

Aww he's gorgeous! Helen and I were raving over him earlier on the phone!

So pleased he has found a friend in Dylan, bonding would be worth a try. He was always very vocal with Pudsey! Bless him Popcorning or in his case Popthumping as he was so noisey doing it here!

Emily will be thrilled with the pics. :smitten:

Julie and Marty - he looks so very settled sprawled out like that - what a handsome boy - I will always miss that piggy. He is everyone's favourite he really is.

As Louise said we were talking about him on the phone only this morning - so glad you have him - he looks brilliant. Gosh I had forgotten just how big and handsome he is.

Love Helen.

Thanks both! I get the feeling he's going to be full of mischief ;D

Hope Emily likes the pics Louise :) We'll send some links at some point to you for some more pics ;)

He always makes me smile, I have no idea why! So, so handsome! :smitten:

Julie, what we do is print all pics of the rescues and then put them in the scrap book so Emily never forgets them! :)

Thanks for your posts everyone :)

Fiona, yes, we are hoping to try and bond Boomer with Dylan, but it won't be soon - give them time to get used to each other and we may have a little ray of llight (you know what these boars are like!)

where do you get the stick houses from julie? haven't seen them here in oz nor on ebay. hoping your boys do bond well. sending you all hugs :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
the girls send :-* :-* :-* or does some one make the stick house like the big bad wolf? 2funny 2funny 2funny

Sorry Mary, forgot to reply! YOu can get them from Pets at Home here, but we got ours from Zooplus.co.uk, you can also get them from Sally at Pampered Piggies, but none of these are any good for you as they are all UK based ::) They are called Fiddlestix or Playstix, although there are unbranded ones also called their own things. It may be worth contacting one of the copmpanies here to see if they ship to Oz, but it will probably be pricey as they are quite heavy. Would Glynis know of any? Or Baby Wilson, she's in Oz.

Some people use the bendy fence logs used for edging borders, they look very similar to fiddlestix but larger. As long as they are untreated by preservatives etc, they will be fine :)

Only just seen Boomer's latest piccies Julie, he certainly looks like he's well and truly settled in :). I'm glad things are working out well and if you could bond him with Dylan in the future that would be fantastic.

awwwww glad hes settled in, the 2nd pic is gorgeous :smitten: :smitten:

Oh God if he is as gorgeous as Choccy then I'm in trouble! :smitten: ;D

Sounds like the original owner is spinning yarns! >:(

Well, we've had Choccy for a few weeks now and he's never bitten us, nibbled yes, but they all do that and it's never a proper bite and it's cute, and he's not shown aggression towards Dylan either, just interest. I was expecting teeth chattering and rumbles galore when we put the two next to each other but apart from some lunges at the divider within the first couple of minutes, absoutely nothing.

Choccy...I mean Boomer sorry old habbits nibbled me when he thought my finger was a carrot but as soon as he realised he let go. People should just be honest, it helps rescues with pairing and telling potential new owners if they are honest it makes the process easier. You should start a group for him on Facebook Julie he will have many fans! ;D

Julie & Marty, I'm just sooooo delighted that this gorgeous little fella has settled into your home so well and he has obviously found a place in your hearts already. Wishing you many happy and healthy piggy days ahead. O0

I too am thrilled for you both :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
I'm sure Oscar 0:) is looking down from the Bridge and smiling his approval O0 :smitten:
Good luck with the bonding love :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

Aw, he's lovely Julie, he looks very happy! Is he a noisy chirpy pig or a chilled out one?

:smitten:

Well, I've just laughed at his tearing around his cage like a little mad thing at top speed! He is very, very alert and hand-friendly, always wants to know what's going on - he has learned that when we call 'wheeeeeeeekies!' loudly it means food is on it's way ;D He's just barged his way onto my lap through an obsticle course of slipper beds, towels and Martin's legs and when he sits with us in the evenings he sits in his slipper bed for approximately 3 minutes before craning his head out and standing on tippy toes just to get a gander at whats going on, he just can't bear to miss anything! He's flopped down now in a big sprawling heap, I think he's finally worn himself out after his earlier gymnastics! ;D

Aww sounds like he has really come out of his shell! Have you weighed him yet Julie? Caitlin broke my scales before he came so I couldnt' weigh him when he was here would love to know how big he is! ;D

I see you have told them about Choccy's brother coming Graham - ha ha - he really will be in demand if he is half as gorgeous as his brother.

Looking forward to fostering him - tee hee............................................. >:D

Helen.
