I have been having issues with my water bottles leaking. They are the 'classic' ones and the medium sized one has totally emptied itself all over the hutch in the last 24 hours. Does anyone know if the cool ones with the floating ducks in are fairly leak proof?

I had one that suddenly started leaking but I took it back to the shop and got an exchange. Since then only one has leaked and just the once, so don't know what that was all about. Do you make sure you fill them right up to the top and give them a jiggle before attaching? This helps to create a vacuum apparently. :)

I doubt they would take it back, i've had it a while. I was thinking of getting the duck ones for the fact they have ducks in them anyway. The catastrophic leakage has only made it more urgent to get something new tomorrow.

I do prefer the duck ones, would never go back to plastic but do be advised that the occassional leak has been known to occur with them too!

i have one of the duck ones, it is good, and has not leaked, i have ordered two more as think they are much better than the plastic ones

I have the duck one too and it never leaks. I have seen that other members have reported it leaks though...i think if it is filled up to the top so that it creates a vacuum it is generally good! I much prefer them to the plastic bottles, and my piggies drink more from it. It has a bigger spout and two ball bearings which they seem to prefer! HTH :)
