Bramble and Saffron

Hi, I'm new to the forum. I've just got 2 guinea pigs and thought I should post some pictures up of them.
I suspect Bramble is an english crested lilac and Saffron is a Pink eyed Golden (but she is rather lighter in the sun although not light enough to be a saffron or buff). Saffron also seems to have a bit of white ticking throughout her coat so may be an argente rather than a self).

You're right, Bramble is a lilac english crested, but the other one looks like a lilac/gold argente to me from the photo, but colours can look different screen to screen

I think you are right and saffron is a lilac/gold argente....she's too light to be a self gold.



Hanwombat, I'm a sucker for lilac and crested guinea pigs so when i saw her i knew i had to get her. I was planning on getting a himalayan as my first ever guinea pig was a himalayan. I might still get one if a himi comes up in a rescue.
Hopefully I'll get more pictures when they become a bit less jumpy and when they move into their outdoor hutch in the next week or 2.

They are a lovely pair and will hopefully settle in well with you! There is the occasional himi turning up in rescue; keep an eye on our rehoming section.

Wow what amazing colours! x) I'm desperately trying to track down a lilac Syrian hamster to no avail. Its one of my absolute favourite colours in animals

I have a himi! They are rather adorable but then I'm biased!
