Junior Guinea Pig
well its been 5 weeks since Bramwell had the snip, so i thought i'd introduce him to his new wives! i put them on neutral territory with some spinach. I've never seen an introduction go so well, Bramwell was sniffing the girls bottoms and the girls all turned thier backs on him and were eating, they couldn't care less he was there! after a while bramwell ate too. they stayed inside in the pen all day and no problems at all, so yesterday i scrubbed out the hutch and put all 4 in! you'd think they had always been together, the got on so well. i kept hovering and checking, and the girls were following bram about. and last night when i went to put the heatpad in, bram being a gentleman ushered his wives in the cabin (where the heatpad was) and stood in the doorway watching me, when i shut the door he went straight into the cabin. he looks so happy, like he has a job now, protector of the herd!
just checked on them this morning and they were all in the cabin, as soon as i put the greens in, they all came down the stairs to eat (ladies first of course) i'm thrilled!
