hi all can * give gps small amounts of bran or any think warming in the winter mine have gone off spring cabbies and other veg ive try all kinds but they will only eat cumber now they get plenty of hay and gp wagg crunch

Will they eat parsley, lettuces, coriander etc.? I'd be mostly concerned about vitamin C levels, even with a good supply of dried food.

Sweetcorn is good for encouraging weight gain. Ideally you want at least one really nutritious food daily - peppers are excellent if the pigs take to them, or even a few sprigs of parsley - and then you can add it in the more filling foods and variety.

I've heard of bran and oats being given but I would not offer it while the pigs are not eating a good variety of fresh veg - their normal diet needs to be established first. :)
