Thank you.

His cage has been removed from the living room. Every time I see it, it sets me off crying.

Feeling a little better than I did this morning. All the emotions are still raw.

His hay and food will either go to a friend if she needs any. Or a local guinea pig rescue.

I have tears in me eyes. I really am so sorry and upset you lost your baby. He was one of my favourite forum piggies. You must be heartbroken. If you ever need to talk then please send me a pm.

Thank you piggyfan, that really means a lot. My family and friends have been very supportive, but I don't think people truely understand unless they're hooked on the little ones. That's why this forum is so good. I can talk about them for hours without sounding loony!

I'm getting 2 canvas' printed this week for my bedroom if all 4 piggies I've had.

This all still feels like a horrible dream I want to wake up from.

M so glad you have support. You will really need it. The canvases are a lovely idea.

HUGS

I am ever so sorry that Brillo has not made it! I have lots piggies in and after ops myself; it is a most upsetting experience. :(

You did all you could for him and wanted to give him the happiest of lives because you loved him so much.

Oh my word.... :( I've not been about much today so I've just popped on your thread for updates on Brillo. Ive been thinking of you today and I read he's sadly passed away :( this is so sad ayemee I'm so sorry you had to both go through this Hun, you did an amazing job with him. Sending you a huge hug
RIP little fella x

I know it's come as a shock, even though at the back at my mind I sort of expected it after seeing him last night. Thank you for your support. I see you're in Lincolnshire! I'm at uni in Lincoln. Back home for 3 weeks of summer currently.

Glad this all happened when I was home. Being away from him would of been awful.

Yes it was good that you were home, Oh what are you studying there Hun do you live near your uni, I'm near Bourne :)

Yesterday felt like one of the longest days of my life so far.
I woke up this morning still in shock really. I don't think my head is quite round it yet. Going to print off lots of pictures of my piggies today, get them up in my room. I want to remember the happy times. :tu:

I'm so sorry you lost Brillo, he was such a beautiful piggy. You did all that you could for him and he was loved very much.

Sleep tight little Brillo

Thinking of you at this sad time. x

The canvases sound like a lovely idea and memento, I actually have four up of my piggies, Puzzle, Bingo, Florrie and Inca. Sadly Bingo passed away a few weeks ago at the age of 7, but having the canvases of the pigs is a lovely reminder of the happy times I had with her.

If you'd like to see a photo of the arrangement of the canvases then I'd be happy to post or send you one.

I would love to see, they sound lovely! I'm just off to get mine ordered.

I don't want to remember the sad times. I want their cheeky little faces greeting me every morning on the wall :)

All the canvases are the same size, but I chose two portrait and two landscape photos so that they could be arranged like this. It also worked quite nicely because they are all facing the centre, and looking at their cagemate (Florrie and Inca live together and Puzzle and Bingo lived together).

I think it's the fact that I had so many photos of Bingo and the happy times with her that has helped me and is still helping me through after losing her. Whenever I look at the canvases it just reminds me of what a happy piggy she was and how we shared some very special memories.

I'm sure your canvases will look lovely when they arrive and they will be something you can always look at to remember the happy times you had with Brillo.

Got my canvases done! I love them!
