hi all, this is going to sound like a daft question, but when we give the piggies broccoli do we give it raw or cook it first?
and also, how much salad stuff is advised per day, as i put a bowl of mixed lettuce (not iceburg) with carrot and i cut up some cucumber too, when i put it in the cage, they ate it so fast i was shocked! i didnt give them anymore for today as i wasnt sure how much was to much?

I feed brocoli to my pigs raw, I dont think they're allowed cooked food.
My pigs get a cup of vegetables each a day, half a cup each in the morning and half in the evening :3
With a couple of handfulls of grass and some dandilyon leaves when I come home from school.

About 50g of mixed veg per pig per day - it pretty much equals one cup per piggy.

Grass is extra and counts as fresh hay! (Which is unlimited) :))

Mine are loving romaine lettuce, I got two large hearts of it from tesco for about 60p, I bought 2 packs.

Yes all veg must be raw. Green peppers are my piggies favourite! :<>

Mine eat brocolli but I try not to give too much or too often because I read that it can make them gassy.

great tips, thanks guys.
i didnt know you could give them peppers, i was looking at them in the shop, but wasnt sure.
oh i have so much to learn when it comes to piggies, but, i have to say, i am thoughroughly enjoying learning :)
