Broken tooth

Not losing weight, not in pain, eating normally.. first broken toothy I’ve ever encountered in a piggy. Do I need to do anything? He’s not a bar biter so no idea how he’s managed this!

If he’s maintaining weight and able to eat, the tooth should grow back in a few weeks. Just keep an eye on him

and balance up with the bottom tooth. You will find it helpful

Thought I’d provide an update … this is Norman’s tooth 3 DAYS after his initial break! I didn’t realise they grew so fast! He’s eating as normal and happy

My guinea pig has broken her teeth twice! Usually, it ended up with the first tooth, and then she’d keep gnawing and biting down too hard and the other one ended up chipping, but they’ve always both grown back!
