I use a soft bristle brush (like a baby brush) to remove surface dirt. I've then got an assortment of metal and plastic combs to remove dead hair and reduce tangles. What ever comb or brush you use make sure it's got rounded teeth. Try it against your skin first to ensure it's not harsh or scratchy as pigs have very delicate skin.
You may also want to invest in some professional groomers scissors. I've got some bull nose rosaline scissors as it's generally easier to cut out knots than to brush them out.
