Hi all , hope everyone is well , I would like to ask , can our little piggies eat brussel sprouts . I usually give them a bowl of mixed veggies as a treat this time this one had small cut bits of spinach , of parsley, and of the brussel sprouts ( not full leaves ) so after that two of them were alittle funny like they would vomit or something, after a second or two they stopped . Did I do something wrong ? Can someone please advise ?

I usually give mine the outside leaves of sprouts but not the bit I cut off the top cos mine don't eat that bit. They don't get many leaves. A couple of days later I make sure I'm downwind of them it can be a bit whiffy otherwise:vom:

If I give sprouts I usually cut them in half but give 2 halves per pig...if I dont cut them in half they dont eat them, I'm not sure why but who am I to argue! I find when I give my lot something new, they can eat it a bit too fast, in their enthusiasm, which can make them cough or pull funny faces which might be what you saw?

Thank you all for the feedback . Phew I froze like omg my babies what have I done . Thank you so much . I cut up one and shared it among my six babies and when the two pulled their faces I was scared I was like omg is it bad for them as it was in a mixed bowl of veggies spinach and parsley . I gave it to them for the first time omg their reaction scared me I said to them no more haha but now I know they can eat it in moderation I feel a lot better . Thank you so much once again I really appreciate it .

My Finn and Lara eat brussel sprouts but it has to be cut in half or in quarter for them to eat it.
