Hi,
Has anyone used Burgess Supa Forage Excel, Pure dried natural grass?
Spotted it in P@H today and it is lovely and green, but only mentions to use for rabbits?
Is it ok for piggies? I'm sure it must be but wanted to double check with you guys.
Looks Yummy

It's absolutely fine for piggies. You can also get Spillers Readigrass and Dodson and Horrell Just Grass which are the same. They are both horse feeds but are a lot cheaper approx £7.50 a bag.

Didnt think that you could feed rabbit food to guineas.... as they have different dietry requirements.  98)

Guineas need plenty of Vit C which should be in their dry mix and their veg. Rabbits make their own vit C so dont have it in their dry mix (or as much of it).

Really not sure about this one  98)  ;)

it's not dried pellets or museli, it's dried grass
it only mentions rabbits on the bag so i wasn't 100% sure

Oh... I see! Me dooopid!  98)

Think I've seen it by the tim hay.  ;)  Havent tried it but I guess variety is the spice of life! Sure they would like it.

Sorry about that! Should learn to read things better! Thought you meant pellets made from dried grass

(btw - think it only mentions rabbits on the tim hay and I feed my piggies that.)

Usually use the timothy hay, but today, it didn't look as green, and i saw the excel and it is really, really green, well they are enjoying it, just confused why they don't say for rabbits and guinea pigs on the bags?

sometimes mine wont even have a sniff of the timothy hay, like you say some days it seems greener than others :-\
