Buzz and Tim are now living together

After the sad loss of Beanbag a couple of weeks ago Buzz has been living on his own. Due to all his issues, he really needs another pig to guide him a bit so we decided to attempt to bond Tim who has lived right next door since we took him in from Gumtree a few months ago. As Tim is only about 8 months old and Buzz is at least 4 we thought it would be worth a try. We started them out sat together on my partner and Tim immediteky started to groom Buzz (he's a very licky pig). Then they had floortime in the hall which went well so we put them in Buzz's cage which we had completely cleaned. They seem to really like each other, Tim does hump Buzz but he just shrugs him off and carries on with what he is doing. Wish Tim wouldn't popcorn on top of him though lol. As Buzz is permanently in his own little Buzz world I don't think he reacts like other pigs would. Here's some pics:

Well all is still going well, found them sat together under a stool earlier. Think Tim squeezed in with Buzz but he seemed happy to let him. Tim keeps going over to him as if to check he's stilll there too which is lovely.

What a lovely story! I'm so glad they are friends. Tim looks sooooo happy now compared to the first picture i saw of him on Gumtree. He looks a lot chunkier too!

Yep he is a lot bigger now bless him, is way over 1100g now, he had a full health check at piggy clinic too and is fine apart from a slight arythmia we need to keep an eye on. He even got Buzz wheeking yesterday which he never does that often and is very husky.

Thanks Glynis. Buzz nicked a bit of veg from under Tim's chin this morning which was great as it shows he's not scared of him.
