Have lost Jed tonight, he had been ill for a while and his heart finally gave in tonight. I'm just so glad I was home with him and could hold him when he went. He wont have to go through tests and anymore vets visits he disliked so much now. He went quickly but had been feeling so ill especially the past 24 hours.

He has been a little star for the past 11 years, I wish it had been longer but we have got so many wonderful memories of our fantastic staffie.

I know it will get easier over time and it has not totally sunk in yet that he has gone, will be very strange without him here tomorrow.

Bye Jed will miss you and that staffie smile so much.

So sorry to hear about Jed. He looked like a magnificent boy and I'm sure you will have many happy memories to cherish when you are up to it. It takes a lot of adjusting when you lose a pet and only time will ease your pain. Thoughts are with you

Alison, I'm so sorry about Jed - and you're right, what a wonderful smile. It's not often they just go to sleep at home, and he must've been so comforted that you were with him. RIP little Jed.

So sorry for your loss Alison.
He looked a smashing boy with such a lovely smile.
He will always be with you no matter what.

I am so sorry to hear about Jed. 8...8...8... I cannot imagine how it must feel to lose your dog.

Know that Jed is running free over the bridge & no doubt flashing his smiles to all the ladies who have gone before him!

Hold onto your memories & wonderful pictures - especially any where he smiles! x)
