I have just been to JTF and bought lovely cage cubes from them, they are PINK which will go great for my girls :) and the best big was they were only £7.99 plus vat!! i paid £23 at b and q for boring black ones I'm so excited to get them in it :):)
 
wow just looked theres one in stoke think i may pay it a visit. Thanks for sharing.
 
you get 13 in the pack, i think they are slightly smaller than b and q ones but still the right size. they have a smaller grid on them but i like that expecially for my little 2! they come in silver and pink :)

Could you measure them for us? I quite like the idea of pink ones :))
 
i have just measured it agenst my black b and q one and exactly the same size for one wall. The hole is about 5mm.

You mean one side is the same length as the B & Q ones? They must be rectangular shape, not squares then? That wouldn't matter, & they are higher as well? Do you mean the holes are 5cm, not 5 mm? :)

i think the measurements i gave you must have been wrong for one grid as in just one square (not the whole cube) but it is exactly the same size as b and q ones so i think i will mix and match, and no it is 5 mm very small holes i think would only be the downside although its a up side for me as my 2 girls kick there poo and sawdust out the cage and this will stop most of it from coming out :)

i will post pictures tomorrow tea time :)
 
Oh that's great, thanks. Hopefully they have plenty of stock seeing as B & Q seem to have given up the ghost on the cubes now, they told me they won't be getting anymore until at least December :(

i got the last one when i went to b and q i was so happy i really dont know why they dont keep them in so many people use them as cages and its such a great idea too :) cant wait to get them in there pink play pen :) x

Have you seen all the review's on grid's at b and q, all guinea pig cages:))
 
For anyone who might not have been to JTF before, you need to sign up for a membership card. It is free but you do need to have one to allow you to go in and buy anything.

I am looking at the application form, seems you have to have a business? If not does that mean you can't join? :(
 
also forgot to say they have masive bags of hay and sawdust there too i got a big bag of hay 21 letres for £1.75 plus vat :)

I think they are pretty leanent with who they have in store so i wouldnt worry about having a business or not just take some id with you i think that would be alright :)
 
thanks for posting this i went today to JFT in stoke and upstairs they have loads of these in pink, they asked for my drivers licence and name of company but no proof i worked there or anything. YAY.

they are lovely arnt they! i was in heaven when i saw them and then the price i was like "yayyy".

Sorry havent managed to post a picture people, i cant work it out and have been really busy!
