Hi,

I have been looking into c&c cages as they seem quite popular and we have some correx so i am already half way there lol I have seen these grids for sale at B&Q -

http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.jsp?action=detail&fh_secondid=10687690&fh_location=//catalog01/en_GB/categories%3C{9372014}/categories%3C{9372040}/categories%3C{9392024}/specificationsProductType=boxes___baskets/specificationsSpecificProductType=boxes#BVRRWidgetID

Was just wondering, if they come in boxes of about 23 grids, if this will be large enough to make a cage, with roof, for my two boys? Was looking around 4x2ft

Anybody used these particular grids? / Any idea if one box would be enough please?

Many thanks in advance x

Yes that will be more than enough! :) I got my grids from costco wholesale and amazon,

Could I just ask as your in england where did you get your coroplast, I've been searching for three years and I'm no resorting to persepx.

oh thats fab! thanks! well i am lucky as my other half works for his dads demolition company they get things like that on the jobs they work at so we have some off cuts, nothing fancy, just white with some logo on it.

I did google correx the other night and it did bring up about 3 sites in the uk that sell it, theplasticshop.co.uk i think was one.

Yep that should be fine. It should take about 20 grids so you'll have three left over.

Have you got any sign makers shops near you? Or you can get them off the internet.

Hi there!

I couldn't get the B&Q grids for love nor money! No where stocked them and you can't order to store unless they stock them! Hopefully this is not the case where you live as they are probably the cheapest one you'll find.

I got these

There were 26 in the pack and all the connectors and cable ties you will need.

I had to put a roof on mine and didn't quite have enough grids so I got a couple of these 5 sided cubes also with connectors.

Hope this is helpful :) I posted a picture of my c&c cage earlier in this section if you want to take a look x

iCavy, There are several online companies which sell large sheets of correx to the general public, for home delivery (not just sign-making companies - also packaging/removal supplies companies). Also some builders merchants sell it, like Travis Perkins. My local timber merchant also sells it (apparently it's an ever increasingly popular alternative to hardboard) but I can't fit their 8x4ft sheets in my car so I may just get it delivered!

Thank you :)

The cage is working out great! The top floor is a hay loft. It keeps the hay off the vetbed otherwise is sticks! My new piggies seem to be settling in very well :))
