just wanted if piggies needed a 4x2 or if a 3x3 would work or instead of 6x2 a 4x4.

the square footage is better as a square i beleive, but do you think piggies need the length to run and play?

sorry just thinking out loud.

Which shape you use is irrelevant; the important factor is the minimal ground space. Piggies will play and race in anything as long as there is the necessary space!

The good thing about C&C is the versatily that allows you to go for whatever shape and setup suits your location and needs best.

I think personally my piggies prefer the x2 because bentley likes to think of himself as a race car and runs up and down, i also prefer x2 because it's easier to clean as mine has a little stand beneath it, putting the fleece in is easier to reach in x2 that a x3 (:

But i think it's all to personal opinion ! the pigs just love space and i don't think they know much about shapes anyways haha !

thanks Wiebke, i didnt think it would make much difference but just wanted to check.

also i love your avatar pic x)

I currently have 2 3x3's and a 4x4 as i like it. to be honest i dont think they care but i cant ask them. Clean out is fine they are all on the floor i open the door let them out and in i crawl, sometimes i even have my toes cleaned rolleyes

Thats my cage, i really like the idea of being able to open it up into a run with a little door , but with it being off the ground and all the storage underneath and things it's a little impossible :(

I think i also prefer it x2 because it sits nicely along the wall in line with everything else haha, i guess i may try it a different way around some time, i don't know (:

Thanks; I still miss both Telyn and Hafina dreadfully and this is one of my alltime favourite pictures.

It doesn't matter in my opinion whether piggies race lengthwise or in circles - the main thing is that the have the space!

nice :) i dont have any on the computer of my cages at the moment.
mine dont have a run as such, i open one grid and off they go they have full run of my flat. one cage at a time though lol.

that makes sense, but as mine are all in one room it doesnt really matter lol. at least with C&C you can take it apart and rebuild it!
