me again lol! i have a cage which is 119x59x47 cms and due to get 2 girl guineas in a few weeks, i havnt go a run for them and was goiung to let them out in the kitchen (blocking off part of it with the cage, where there is wires ). My question is , would this cage be big enough for one more piggy? after reading this forum i would love to rescue a female to go with the 2 I'm getting. Would this be ok and would the 2 sisters accept an 'outsider'. I know resue centres dohome checks and I'm worried i would be turned down as i dont have a proper indoor un even though they would have somewhere safe to exercise, thanks for reading x

Your cage is roughly 4x2 foot so would only be suitable for 2 piggies. I don't think you'd have a problem rescuing without a run if you explain they have a safe area to exercise in but the cage would need to be 5x2.

ah ok thanks its just the cage seemed huge wheni got it and have seen smaller cages with 2 guineas in....maybe I'm not thinking about how big they will finally become when i picked them out they were the size of hamsters bless them! x

Awww x) Yeah, they can get big. The cage is perfect for two. Maybe, if you really want to add to your brood you could make some extensions to your cage? I've seen other people on here do that. But see how you get on with your new babies first.
