Hiya everyone, okay I don;t have guinea pigs yet, but maybe by the end of Novemeberdrool

I have spoken to someone who has baby g/pigs 1 week old, and said they will be able to leave end of November, 3 girlsdrool I only really want 2 girls /2 boys but how could you split the 3 girls, I don't know what to do! But then could you really tell only 1 week in the sex?

Anyways if (just if) I was to home the 3 girls what size cage would I need, I am looking for indoor cage ideas?

You need a minimum of 2x5 ft as a recommendation by the RSPCA; more is better!

If you can, try to build a C&C cage of 2x4 grids (=28 x 56 in, with some grids left over for a mezzanine floor - you get 16-17 grids in one pack).

For ideas look at this sticky thread: http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=142, especially the last few pages.

For getting cube storage, I ordered mine from ebay - it was cheapest (check out p&p, there are differences!) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....m=220482267542&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=012

I agree with Weibke if you can go down the c&c route - it takes a bit more time but what you get for your money is amazing and then you can take the 3 girls with no guilt.

If you need any tips or advice there are lots of us who have made one and can help you get it together.

C&C cages are the best.
They're cheap, too! And you can expand them if you ever feel the need to.
Piggies love them, too.

I agree totally on this.

You can do so many things with them.
