Hi

My piggies live in an outdoor cage in the playhouse. As its getting very cold I'm not happy to leave them out there. I want to buy an indoor cage but space is limited would a ferplast rabbit 100 be big enough for two. Thank * for advise.

Hi,

The 100 is quite small as my sister has one, is there anyway you could stretch to a 120 as this is the minimum requieet for two piggies:))

Hi yes i could try as I don't want them to have no space.

The 120 would be fine for two piggies, you could get away with 100 if they were getting a lot of floor/lap time but the larger the cage you can get the better.

Ok i see now. They look great but I need to sit my cage up of the floor so a cage would be easier. The hutch they have outside is two storey but its soooo cold. Thank you for all your advise.

I see they've got a 150cm cage as well http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/small_pets/hutches_cages/rabbit_cage/140_cm_cages/95921 not cheap but a good price with the stand.

I have a Trixie rabbit 150 which I love and I notice are back in stock at Dabners: http://www.dabners.co.uk/product-5127-rabbit-150-indoor-cage.html again a bit if an investment.

C&C cages are fantastic if you can source the bits though. The only reason I went for a commercial cage this tome was that they live in the same room as the chinchillas and I can't risk an inquisitive chin landing in with the piggies as they can be quite aggressive with other animals they perceive to be in their terrirory.

You could maybe add a 'landing' level too if you're pigs are used to two levels?

It'd give them a little more space maybe :)
