Call to arms - help our Wiebke!

I want to help, but I don't even live in the main island. I would gladly help with the funding, if need be.

Adding my name to those who can't help in any other way but would be happy to donate if it would be helpful x

Sending love and very best wishes Wiebke and David. Like most people here I am too far away to be much use but am happy make a donation towards a pet sitter if that would help.

I'm also too far away, but happy to donate if a pet sitter is the way go.
Get well soon, wishing you both a speedy & full recovery 💞💐🐹🐹xx

Thanks for the updates. Wiebke is such an amazing source of support for so many piggies, not to mention all the humans (her sage and compassionate viewpoint has helped me work through many difficult and emotional piggy times and many other people here too I know). We are so lucky to have her. If there’s any small way we can repay even a fraction of what she has given us, so that we can be of practical support or moral support, that would be good.

Ps I hope you have the human version of metacam and parsley to help you through this Wiebke and know what we’re all behind you 100%!

I am too far away to help but would also contribute to a pet sitter if needed.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts, the forum means a lot to Weibke and the people on it. She is seeing the messages but is not yet up to replying
Sending love and healing vibes her way. ❤️

Oh no, I've just seen this. I can't help as I don't like close enough and don't have enough space to temporarily house any here. I hope Wiebke has a speedy recovery.

I'm probably the closest, I'm only 5 miles away.
David DMd me earlier, I've just spoken to him and said I would call by tomorrow (when I'm in Coventry anyway) and help with doing a cage clean. We can also chat over a pile of piggy-poop about any other help he might need in the near future.
I may be able to look after one of Wiebke's groups if needed, my OH said we could have a cage in the dining room again temporarily (my usual accommodation in hutches in the outbuilding wouldn't be suitable for W's indoor piggies).
I hope that your visit went well. Wiebke, David and the piggies are in my thoughts.

Thank you. I was delayed getting there by work taking longer than expected and then having to wait half hour for a bus, which meant we only had an hour. But I was able to help clean a hard to access cage, which the resident piggies appreciated. David felt it would be most helpful if I was able to take one pair of piggies to temporary accommodation at Lawnmower Lodge, making it easier to access and move the other cages, so I have one pair currently residing in my dining room .
🙏

I’m so sorry I can’t help as I am too far away (and just recovering from a foot op too) but happy to help fund any assistance needed. Wiebke has been so supportive over the years it’s the least I can do!

That’s a wonderful help @Qualcast&Flymo. Thank you.
