Hi Guys. I was wondering if anyone would be prepared to help watch our 17 boys for 5 days? 2 Piggies have heart problems and need meds twice a day but they take them very easily. All the boys live in our heated piggie shed and so it would be easier to come to our place to sort them out. The in laws are normally happy to come down so perhaps if someone wouldn't mind maybe boarding the heart piggies? all the boys are very friendly and easy to look after I just would like to have another option for maybe a couple of days if the in laws aren't around? Thanks Claire

How many heart piggies you got hun?

Never mind just read how many! Hahahah.

Well.. I can offer my assistance for the two needing the meds. We have two spare cage for them and we will be back on the 27th. Plus you have seen our place and you know us. But it is up to you :D

If you wouldn't mind watching those 2 we can bring them up to you in their indoor cages? only Nero 3's x Meds aren't difficult just need to crush 1/2 tablet with a little water and syringe them, plus 0.1 ml of frusol liquid which freddie loves. x

Not at all. It will give me experience should I take on poorly ones in the future. If you could show me the day you bring them over how to do it that would be great. I have syringed my ones before, but I am sure there is a better knack than when I hand to wrestle with Maguai in a towel hahaha. But she hated it.

Is this going to be a back up plan, or would you rather us have them anyway (Either way we are happy to help!)

thanks Carma. Well most of the time i don't even need to pick them out the cage they just sit there and take them! occasionally if they are faffing and i'm going to work i just catch them, pop them on my left arm and they will lift their lip and take them. Not quite sure yet what the plan is just thought that the in laws have looked after them a few times but thought it might take the pressure off if they don't have to do the meds as marc's mum gets a bit panicky and if they can;t it is easier to ask my neighbour/cousin/someone else etc to do the healthy ones as it is less complicated for a non-piggie person. x

Sure! Options are always nice! Peace of mind!

If you did decide to bring them here, they will get to use their best lines trying to chat up my girls from the other side of the room. I won't put them right next to the girls as it might work them up, and if they have a heart condition I am guessing it wouldn't be good for them... The boys will be either be next to each other in the bedroom or in the living room. But away from direct contact with the girls.

We would be over the moon to look after them if you did need us to!

By the way, I cannot beleive they actively take medication! What good boys!

Just need to confirm that we are able to get a train back for those days!

The girls should keep them in check, they have a knack of nibbling noses and toes through the bars, little moos!
