As the title says, my guinea food supplier suggested this and would like to know if anyone else knows the answer to this, its similar to ready grass but is a different colour, it looks like this http://www.kehoefarming.com/products.php?id=5 i wont use products until researched thoroughly. thank you

I wouldn't think it was suitable or even needed. Good quality hay is all you need for fibre and piggies don't bolt their hard feed like horses do :)

I feed the ready grass (or similar) as a treat twice a week but really they don't need it rolleyes, it's purely just something different and a bit of special in the winter months and when they are not on the fresh grass.

I wouldn't to be honest. I'd stick to a good quality hay like Ings hay from hay4pets. :)

I take it your finding Redigrass, Just grass or Graze on difficult to source aswell.

It will be back in the shops again by the end of May so I was told by the companies last week when I rang them.

Be careful as I was offered chaff chaff but fortuneantly was told it had palm oil on it. As no-one on here or where any where else I tried to get an answer from could help I decided against using it.
I was lucky though as found somewhere that had a few bales so bought them all.
If you don't have many guineas I'd use the friendly grass in the little bags as that's still available

I don't agree with you mine have gone of their normal feed due to not having their readi grass or simular everyother night in place of their concentrates proving to me that they really do need and like the grass as part of their normal diet.
Mine also eat fresh grass all year round as unless it's snowing they go out in their runs.
