Can Guinea Pigs get Parvo?

So I plan to get a new lil’ guinea pig but I’m worried. My sisters dog recently had parvo and got cured but now our land is infected (and stays infected for 2 years I believe) I go to the backyard often to visit with my other animals (who’ve gotten their shots) and I’m worried that when I interact with the guinea pig, it might contract it. So it would be a great help if someone could notify me if guinea pigs can get parvo.
