His brother died and he’s looking sullen. I’ve already arranged a meeting with a rescue that has spayed sows but that won’t be till January. So Timothy is all alone right now ☹️ Can I give him a rabbit pelt to cuddle with?

I’m sorry abt Timothy’s brother. I don’t rlly know how to answer this question but the nice thing to do is give Timothy his own time to grieve. Once he starts feeling better maybe u can consider getting rabbit pelt? But u might want to do a little research before getting it. Again, I’m so sry for your loss. Good luck!

I'm so sorry for your loss.
I don't think a rabbit pelt would provide Timothy any comfort. The best thing for him right now is lots of love and cuddles (if he likes them). Hopefully you can get him a friend in January 💕

Might be more useful to keep some hay/bedding that still smells of his brother while Timothy is still grieving. A rabbit pelt won't mean anything to him.

Like others have said I wouldn't give a rabbit pelt.
It will smell and feel very different to a guinea pig, and may actually end up stressing him.
A baby safe cuddle toy would be better, as long as he doesn't chew it.
But in reality as most guinea pigs aren't cuddlers, a soft toy won't offer much comfort.

It is wonderful you are thinking of getting him a friend in the New Year.
Thinking of both of you and sorry for your loss.
