I have to guinea pig, Alfred (10 months) and Anton (5 months). They can no longer be with each other beacuse they will fight. I love them both very much and I would like to know if it is okay to have them in separated caged, and then living alone. I have this cage Gnaverbur Lounge | zooplus.dk and they are now living alone, and they act normal.
Can they live like this, or do they both need a friends? Meaning that i need to sell one of them.

Hi! Ideally your boys should be able to see and interact with each other at all times. Two tier cages with separate levels are not ideal for this purpose.

Please do not sell any boy or condemn him to a life alone and in god knows what kind of care! It is not his fault and he should not be made to pay the price.

Can you at least give your two boys daily roaming time in a split run so they can keep on interacting and stimulating each other for several hours each day?
