Can piggies play with these cat toy balls?

I personally wouldn’t give them to piggies as if they were to chew them they could be quite dangerous.
In the pet shop yesterday I saw some nice willow balls which would be a better choice.

Mine have a larger version of a ball like this that's thicker plastic, with a smaller rattle ball inside of it, they love it and push it about all the time. Mine was sold as a cat ball from pound world, however they sell exactly the same ones from pets at home for about £2 I believe. Mine also have smaller ones similar to this, but they show almost no interest in them, and the plastic is thinner and would be more easily chewed through so I check them every morning, but will more than likely remove these soon due to lack of interest 😅

I wouldn't use that to be honest. Their small feet may get stuck in it. If you want them to have a toy, choose a natural one, like made of hay or grass. Like the photo below. Although not all guinea pigs would play with it. My hubby bought one of that but all my guinea pigs just ignored it. They would rather chew cardboard boxes than play with the hay ball.

I would also use something natural that the pigs could chew without risk. Mine have willow balls - well a pack of three different types and although they’ve had them a year they are pretty chewed now. It helps with tooth wear as well, which is a benefit over plastic.

I poked some holes in these and put a few nuggets inside them. The piggies love pushing them around waiting for nuggets to drop out. Peggy can push it all the way up the ramp into the hayloft.

I have given very similar balls to my piggies but the gaps in the ball are slightly smaller and they love playing with it and rattling it

Not seen these ones before, might have to have a look our girls love the willow balls, they don't last very long but are very much enjoyed!

My boys like ratton balls and willow balls especially when I stuff hay and forage inside although they've turned their noses up at the coloured ones I got them for Christmas.

I put an old plastic ball pool ball in the run and it's good as there's no way either piggy can get their chops round it but can play noseball- downside nowhere to put treats👎-rattan sound great will have to look out ...
