It makes me wonder if they see in the dark...

I have a light in my room for Trixie, but at about 9 pm or 9:30 I turn the light off.. so can she see in the dark when I turn the light off?
or does she smell her way through her cage?

hah Idk?

They have pretty bad eyesight anyway, most of thier moving around is done with other senses such as sound, so whether in the dark or light, they're pretty short sighted anyway! :)

I was thinking the same thing!

Thats problem why mine are so noisy! Night light i think form now on!lol

you I've heard they can't see very well to begin with, I guess that's why they sniff everything lol, aww it's so cute though! I guess they can kinda see in the dark.

I leave the fishtank light on for the girls and Cuzzy and the kitchen light on for the boys. Peter thinks I'm mad but I feel better knowing they have some light!

Erm well they have good smell to find things and they use their whiskers as a way of feeling for things (yes they aren't just to make our piggies look cute :smitten:) so I guess they have what they need to get around...
