Hi Everyone! I have 3 female guinea pigs in my cage and so far and wasn't sure if I had enough room to put another one in. My cage is 20.5 square feet big. I did some research and they said the smallest you should go with two guinea pigs is 7.5 square feet big, but it said it would be best if they had 10.5 square feet though. I just wanted to see people's thoughts on this! Thanks!

Yes, up to 5 sows or 4 boars can live in that cage.

Here’s a trick I use:
One guinea pig requires a 7.5 square foot cage.
For multiple pigs, multiply the number of pigs by 4. This will get you the minimum or recommend amount of space.

i.e., if I had 4 guinea pigs, they’d need a 16 square foot cage, because 4 x 4 = 16. If I had 5 guinea pigs, they’d need 20 square feet.

Thanks I will definitely use that!
