Hello :)
I took Theo and Alice to the vets today and she didnt actually give me a diagnosis but I told her I suspect a URI. She prescribed: 0.13ml of Metacam once daily. Tip of a teaspoon of Bisolven in their food twice daily. 0.05ml of Baytril twice daily.
My question is, will my other piggies (downstairs) catch this even though they wont be in contact with each other at all? These two will be upstairs and I will wash my hands before handling the others. I'm just worried :(

No, they shouldn't, as long as you practice good hygiene.

I think your other piggies should be OK. I have found even cage mates don't always catch infections from each other. When my Hazelnut had a URI his cage mate Peanut Butter didn't catch it. And when Peanut Butter suffered from a stubborn to shift 3month UTI - poor boy - Hazelnut didn't catch that.

Wow, thats so strange, isnt it? Thank you :) I'm so relieved. They started their medication this morning so hopefully they'll be on the mend. I'm sorry about your piggies, are they fully recovered? :)
