Can you take piggies on a train?

Or any animal for that matter. I know you can take guide dogs on...

I'm planning on going to see a friend at the end of the month, but I don't drive so I'll need to go on the train. I want to take gilly with me, of course in his travel box.

Yeah I think you can :) I've taken a rabbit on a train before so I don't see why not x
 
Yep you can, Abi met us half way with Peter and she came by train
 
I don't see why not - I took my dog from Bristol to Scotland on the train - he loved it lol
 
lol i love the rail card!

I've not taken my piggies on the train but my hammies used to come with me all the time when i was at uni. As long as the animal does not take up a seat or is livestock (yup i reat on the national rail site ... goats, cow, sheep and pigs are not allowed!) they are permitted on the train :D
 
I dont think I would even have asked and just not given them a choice lol I LOVE the railcard.
