Hello.

Today my 5 year old guinea pig Alice was diagnosed with a mammary gland tumor which has spread to both sides of her body. Bit of a shock but preparing to give her the best few months that she has left. She is currently not showing many signs of deterioration but have noticed she's lost weight. Just a matter of time now, nothing much the vet could do because of her age. Just really hope she isn't in pain as I have formed quite a bond with this little one over the 5 years of her life. Cancer is such a horrible, sad thing.

Thank you all for the support! She still looks so healthy and happy it feels too good to be true

I'm so sorry to hear that your little Alice has been diagnosed with this condition.:soz:
I hope she stays symptom free for as long as possible & you can enjoy what ever time you have left together, Alice is a very lucky piggy to have such a loving mum to look after her and give her treats, cuddles and lots & lots of love.
"Hugs" to you both x
