Caramel (cufflinks) And His Sows

Caramel is so brave. He is munching away in the new hay area out in the open. Jingle is under her bed and dear little Mistletoe is hiding in the bonding hay area.

Here are some pics. Mistletoe and Cufflinks get on just fine when he isnt rumbling away wiggling his bottom!

They will sit quite close to each other when there is food around

Jingle is still leader of the pack

It is so great having the whole cage in use again. Nothing sectioned off. 8 x 2 for them to run about in.

It was so sweet when Jingle first realised that the whole cage was opened up again. She had a good look round then lay under her ikea bed and then ... Lay with her cheek against the blue mat x

I had wanted an ikea bed or two for soooo long. Got to assemble Caramel's one next and put it in for him.

Cleaned out the bonding hay area today. All new hay on a tray. Caramel investigated and made happy noises. Jingle went in, causing lots of rumbling and swaying from Caramel. Then Mistletoe crept closer. Rumble wiggle rumble wiggle. Cue Mistletoe hurrying back to the furthest ikea bed, squeaking indignantly!

Caramel and Jingle are munching away in the hay pile. Oh C has shot out and is tooth chattering, well his mouth is moving! Lots of cross noises from Jingle and Caramel. Just munching noises again now. M. is well out of the way under the bed.

Not seen any humping at all. One of them will come into season soon! Caramel is very good and will leave them alone when they make it clear to him that they are NOT keen.

Caramel approached Mistletoe with more rumbles and swaying. She sprayed out a long jet of wee! He didn't push his luck.

Mistletoe is now grazing in the bonding hay area (just a shallow tray of hay and some vet bed). Jingle is under the new (third) ikea bed which is very close to the bonding area and is reaching out and sharing hay from the shallow tray.

Caramel is up the other end in the opposite hay tray. Being spayed by Mistletoe and kicked by Jingle has clearly got through to him. He still popcorns though. So did Mistletoe just now.

They all seem so contented. Oh God Jingle has just laid under the middle ikea bed with her cheek against the vet bed. Awwwwww Squistles has laid under the bed next to her in a little fluffy blonde and white pancake.

It's so lovely when bonding goes so well! We then wonder Why we were so stressed about doing it! My Oscar sniffed Lulus bottom and got the same treatment - a face full of pee! He keeps well out of the way now if either wives give a warning!

Jingle and Caramel are in the same hay tray munching away together. Mistletoe is under the furthest ikea bed chillin'. They are all getting along so well. I love my fluffy trio.

Still got a hankering for a smooth white (or mainly white) sow though. Perhaps one day ...

Oh my word. Mistletoe has just laid down fully with her chin on the blue mat x

Top pic Cherry and Rosie on the left. Mistletoe back right and Cufflinks front right (used to be called Caramel). Last pic shows Jingle in her fave place, chillin'.
